The basic sources of inspiration for Svetlana’s work are her Belarusian origin, (folk)tales, fables, archetypes, family portraits and the identity of the Soviet Women. The work of Svetlana Prigoditch reflects the conflict of an individual who, poised between two cultures, trying to rediscover herself.
